In this lesson i have been looking at my school magazine front cover and trying to pick out and change things about it in order to make it look better. I have tried moving things around editing brightness of pictures in order to make it look more professional. In the end i am happy with the finishing result and wouldn't want to change anymore about it.

Today i have been set many different tasks in which i need to improve in my planning folder. So i have managed to evaluate my picture story and also give heading to work in which i haven't yet done so.

Now i have managed to complete the front cover of my music magazine, i am happy with the way it looks and i think that it looks very professional. However i still have one more task to add to this and that is to make a contents page. Next lesson i hope to begin designing and drafting my contents page so that when it comes to actually making the page it is easier to do as it would have all been planned. I have also completed my music magazine proposal which contains information on how i want my magazine to look. 

Since the last blog that i created i have managed to begin a new task. The new task given is to create a front cover for a school magazine. So far i have planned how i would like my front cover to look on paper this includes, planning how my title will look, the strap-line, where i would like to place my images, etc. We have also been asked to come up with a contents page in which we will eventually design. Since then i have been around the school taking pictures of students working and other students doing activities around the school which i intend to put on my contents page. My teacher has also given us a small workshop for the photoshop program. This was so that we all were familiar with the different techniques which could be used. Today i am hoping to begin designing my front cover and edit some of my pictures in photoshop. 

So far in my media coursework i have completed a Brainstorm which briefly explains shows, some of the music magazines in which i will look at. These include, Rock magazines, Indie magazines, pop magazine and some R&B magazines. I have also managed to complete two front covers in which the images have been taken from The magazine 'Q the music'. Both analysis explain and describe techniques in which the magazine editor has used and the layout in which it is. I have taken a sequence of pictures in which are in some form of a routine. Mine included a fellow student Megan Moles, and she was photographed painting a picture in the art block. Today i have analyzed the photos taken and critiqued what i thought worked well. I have also began to evaluate my double page spread in which i have hoped to have finished by the next lesson.
